Denisse Olivas is a full time Marketing Lecturer at the College of Business Administration and the Director of the Center for Hispanic Entrepreneurship. She received her BBA in Marketing and Computer Information Systems from UTEP and holds an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from the University of New Mexico. She is a Professional Certified Marketer, and holds certificates in Hispanic Marketing from FSU and Social Media from USF. <br>In 2019 she was awarded the Teaching Excellence Award at the College of Business Administration.<br><br>For the last ten years Denisse has worked in the El Paso, Albuquerque, and Dallas in management and marketing. She has held several management positions in retail and advertising projects for major brands such as Domino's and Sony, managed and marketed programs for the University of North Texas, and consulted small businesses. Her main interests include Entrepreneurship, Hispanic Marketing, and Digital Marketing.<br><br>She is a member of the American Marketing Association, Toastmasters International, and the UTEP alumni association.
