Dr. Siddhartha Das, a biochemist by training is a faculty member in biological sciences since 1993. The major teachng areas include microbiology, biology, molecular parasitology and membrane biology. His research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms of the differentiation of parasitic and cancer cells. Research in Dr. Das's laboratory is funded by the National Institutes of Health.
