Jose Manuel Flores-Fuentes
Assistant InstructorEnglish
My research interest lies primarily in Sound Studies, with a specific focus on exploring the intersections between soundscapes, philosophy, and Cultural and Latino Studies within the framework of Rhetoric. I am particularly intrigued by the social dynamics and symbolic constructions that emerge from cultural-aesthetic exchanges within the border Latino community. Through my work, I aim to investigate the socio-cultural border phenomenon by employing the tools and methodologies of sound studies, shedding light on its contribution to the historical heritage of the region.
