I am excited to teach in the Centennial Writing Program here at UTEP. I enjoy working in the classroom with students and working with them while watching their projects grow and take shape. I am consistently amazed and excited by the new ideas and approaches to writing and composing that develop within the classroom and are introduced to me by students. I recently completed my Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition studies here at UTEP in May of 2017. I have been working/studying at UTEP since 2004 and completed both my BA in Print Media Journalism and MA in Rhetoric and Writing Studies here. My dissertation focused on developing and modifying work-place collaborative practices and pedagogies within Technical Communication courses. I am currently interested in working and developing collaboration practices within composition classrooms, developing literacies, writing instruction, rhetoric and technology and interface and interaction design.
