Dr. Li is a member of the American Chemical Society, and has earned a doctoral degree in medicinal chemistry from the Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Guangzhou, China. He collaborates with UTEP faculty members in the realms of drug discovery and development, as well as biomarker studies utilizing high-resolution mass spectrometry.
