Dr. Bañuelos leads the NICE2 Lab (Nanomaterials, Interfaces, and Confinement for Energy & the Environment Laboratory) in the Department of Physics at UTEP. He enjoys mentoring students and is committed to training competent scientists to take on today's grand challenges in science.
