Dr. Mallick has an impressive 30-plus years of experience in the pavement field and a focus on resilient and sustainable pavements; and brings with him an expansive skillset to share with our students. Dr. Mallick's experience includes carrying over 30 research projects to completion, fulfilling 10 consulting projects for the Federal Highway Administration, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the State Departments of Transportation, and developing innovative technologies employed for the design of bituminous mixes. He works extensively with UTEP's Center for Transportation and Infrastructure Systems. Dr. Mallick is also the recipient of the U.S. Fulbright fellowship, holds a U.S. patent, and has authored two textbooks, 106 journal papers, 75 conference papers, and 38 research reports.
