Dr. Tiwari focuses on understanding the virulence mechanisms utilized by pathogens and the immune mechanisms of the host against pathogens using mice and human cell models. Her research involves the utilization of this gained knowledge to develop novel chemotherapies and vaccines against these pathogens.
