Spencer Barnes is an Assistant Professor of Finance at The University of Texas at El Paso. He recieved his Ph.D. in finance from Florida State University in 2022. His research focuses on how different human phenomena such as awards, discrimination, and death impact prices in financial markets. In the classroom, his goal is to train a generation of business students that can think outside of the box to transform the future of business.
