Jesse Soledad Arrieta, M.A. received her Bachelor?s degree in Chicano Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2002. In 2004, she received her Master?s degree in History from the University of California, Irvine. Concentrations of study include activism, feminism, and oral histories. Ms. Arrieta has a Texas teaching certificate in Composite Social Studies. Currently, she teaches UNIV 1301 and for the Chicano Studies department at UTEP. In addition she is an academic advisor with the UTEP Academic Advising Center.
