Dr. Robert Nachtmann came to UTEP after 24 years at the University of Pittsburgh, where he served as the Executive Associate Dean and Professor at the Katz Graduate School of Business Administration. He has served as a visiting faculty member at a number of universities around the world, and he worked for the Securities Exchange Commission before joining the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh. Nachtmann served in the United States Air Force and was briefly stationed in El Paso. Dr. Nachtmann holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from Indiana University, a Master's of Business Administration from Long Island University and a Bachelor's of Science in Applied Mathematics, Engineering Science and Physics from City College of New York. Dr. Nachtmann looks forward to building on the recent exciting advances made by the College, particularly through increasing the enrollment in the newly-instituted Ph.D. in International Business program, continuing the very successful Accelerated MBA Program, and enhancing student learning through use of the excellent new facilities provided by the Texas Gas Service Student Center and the Student Investment Center.
