Dr. Emily A. Durham received her PhD in Asian Languages, Literatures, and Cultures from the University of Minnesota in 2018. Dr. Durham taught at the U of M for ten years before moving to El Paso in March of 2020. She began teaching Developmental English at UTEP in August of 2021. Her current interests include forming a contexualized curriculum for DE and Co-requisite courses, as well as a translingual approach to teaching Academic English in the borderland.
