Dr. Feixue Xie holds a position of Professor of Finance with the JP Morgan Chase Bank Professorship. She joined the Department of Economics and Finance as an Assistant Professor of Finance after receiving her Ph. D. in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000. Prior to joining UTEP, she was an Assistant Professor of Finance at Southern Connecticut State University and an Assistant Professor of Economics at the National University of Singapore.<br><br>She has many research articles published in high quality academic journals such as Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Corporate Finance, Financial Analysts Journal, International Review of Finance, International Review of Economics and Finance. She won the Best Paper Award in Investments at the FMA Annual Meeting in 2009. She has served as an ad hoc reviewer for many academic journals such as Financial Management, Financial Analysts Journal, and International Review of Finance. <br> <br>Dr. Xie's teaching experience is at undergraduate, graduate(MBA and executive MAB), and Ph.D. levels, with courses taught including Corporate Finance, Investment, International Finance, Financial Economics, Corporate Governance.
