I am a computational materials scientist working at the intersection of materials design, electrochemistry, and energy technology. I earned my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University, where I used first-principles modeling to study interfacial reaction chemistry in conversion batteries. I later completed my Director’s Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Theoretical Division (T-1, Physics and Chemistry of Materials) at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where I advanced constant-potential modeling, microkinetics, and data-driven approaches to understand electrochemical interfaces under operating conditions. My research focuses on uncovering the mechanisms that control performance, efficiency, and lifetime, and translating these insights into practical design principles for efficient, durable, and sustainable energy technologies.
