Bio

Dr. Yuan joins UTEP from North Dakota State University (NDSU), where he was promoted to associate professor in the Department of Statistics in 2024. His research interests include social network analysis, statistical inferences, applied probability, data science, and machine learning. His research has been published in prestigious journals such as The Annals of Statistics, Bernoulli, Statistica Sinica, and Statistics and Computing.
