Art Diaz has a BBA in Management from UTEP; and an MBA from Webster University. He joined UTEP as a full time lecturer for the Marketing and Management Department at the College of Business. He is the Executive Director of CEDARS, Centers for Entrepreneurial Development, Advancement, Research and Support, as well as the Director of the Franchise Center. Prior to joining UTEP, the previous 15 years, he was consulting small and medium size companies, specializing in business development and turnarounds through out the United States. He brings extensive business experience and expertise in all facets of business. He has spent 38 years in the private sector, working for himself and several major companies. He has owned several businesses, the latest being his consulting company.
