Born 1956 in New Brunswick, New Jersey (USA); BA in English Literature with concentrations in Philosophy and Religion at Northwestern University in 1979; PhD in Philosophy of Religion in 1994 at Temple University with studies in Continental philosophy at Universit„t Tbingen, Germany; dissertation under Norbert Samuelson: Rosenzweig?s Relational Ethics. Currently: Professor of Philosophy in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Texas at El Paso and Scientific Director of the Center for Science, Technology, Ethics and Policy (CSTEP)
