"Ed" Ramirez received his BA in Liberal Arts with a Psychology major from the University of Tennessee in 1993, MS in International Affairs from Florida State University in 1998, MBA in general management from California State University at Dominguez Hills in 2003, and Ph.D. in Marketing from Florida State University in 2010. He also has over 22 years of business experience, serving in front-line through senior-level management positions for large as well as start-up companies. Ed's research centers on sustainable marketing strategy, services marketing, and philosophy of science. His research has been published by the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Service Research, Industrial Marketing Management, and others. Ed also serves and has served on the editorial review board for several journals, including the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, the Journal of Business Research, and the European Journal of Marketing, along with having served as an ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and others. In his spare time, Ed enjoys guitar, weight lifting, hiking, camping, biking, kayaking, motorcycle riding, snorkeling, traveling, and reading.
