Dr. Halliday is an assistant professor at The University of Texas at El Paso. Her research interests focus on leadership, workplace social exchanges, gender and diversity, and international human resource management. She has published at Human Resource Management and Journal of Business and Psychology. Her research has also resulted in a number of presentations at quality conferences such as the Academy of Management, Academy of International Business, Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and Southern Management Association annual meetings. She has taught courses in Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and International Management. Dr. Halliday earned her doctoral degree from Florida International University (FIU). Prior to FIU, she spent several years as the managing director of the Brigham Young University’s Center for International Business Education and Research (BYU CIBER) and in corporate management working for multinational organizations such as Nestlé USA, Nutraceutical Corporation, and International Flavors and Fragrances. She received her master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from BYU and bachelor’s degree in engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) in Brazil.
